If SBUX negatively surprised I'd say the Bully Wannabes slowdown is on, but they had good revenue pre-announced, so it would have to be downward guidance. This looks ominious too, and overdue

Again was at airport today - they have main terminal and four airsides - basically mini terminals that connect to the main terminal - there was a starbucks in the main terminal and a starbucks in EACH of the 4 mini terminals - blew my mind - I couldn't believe coffee drinker was too lazy to take 1 minute ride on tram over to main terminal and sbux was paying rent on 5 retail locations in such close proximity - I didn't go to the airsides but they seemed to be doing OK traffic at sbux in the main terminal.

Very interesting read from Van Hoisington and Dr. Lacy Hunt of Hoisington Investment Management Company in Austin which John Mauldin distributed in his weekly Outside The Box letter:
