I thought it was the fillings in my teeth

I have a load of mercury amalgam fillings in my teeth too. I have to be careful with my argument here, because I know for a fact that the average USA dentist is way superior to any British dentist with regards to looking after teeth. My own dentist confirms this as he said my teeth are probably good for the rest of my life. Before I went to the USA, this was not the case.

I have read the alarmist arguments about having mercury amalgam so close to your brain, and the business generated in replacing those fillings. However the USA dental association has produced convincing data that mercury amalgam filling are safe in all respects. I am happy with that data and reports.

Mercury in your brain is normally beyond deadly though btw.

There is more chance I will suffer mercury poisoning from having the fillings replaced. The drilling of the fillings frees up mercury to do this.

Given a choice though, why does not EVERYONE use gold for fillings? It's a "no brainer" if there ever was one. Present technology mandates that a mould of each tooth filling needs to be made because the metal alloy is so hard. Pure gold is malleable though and could be put straight in (I think with a little research and technology).

For the amount used, pure gold is cheap even at todays prices -g-

The use of gold for is natural advantages turns over another barrow load of government interference though.

Never mind the young idealist lefties and commies and big government. The central bankers are the worst of the bunch imo.
