"Unprovoked?" Didn't Israel FIRST begin Terror bombing and shelling to intimidate Hizbullah when Hizbullah's leaders refused to immediately return the Israeli soldiers (captured ON THE LEBANON SIDE of the border)? Hizbullah had countered with its demand Israel release Hizbullah's kidnapped people IN EXCHANGE, an offer Israel instantly rejected.

Our cowardly Congress spoke nearly as one and said Israel's INITIAL terror bombing and shelling was NOT an Israeli Provocation at all...that only Hizbullah's capture of intruding Israeli soldiers inside Lebanon, and its refusal to return them, counts as a "provocation."

It is funny that the leader of Hezbollah didn't say they were on the Lebanese side of the border, and neither did the Government of Lebanon or the prime Minister or any of the diplomats interviewed...... You would think they might have mentioned something that important.
