No, Lieberman has just gotten kissed off. He will probably lose the democratic primary, and the deal is he walks if that happens. In exchange for the insincere Clinton endorsement.

Bush endorsed George Tenet as he was firing him after Cheney used Tenet to dessiminate false intel on Iraq. They set him up, gave him a medal then let him take the fall for their own sins.

Democrats are showing Lieberman the door.
