The I-Bank shorts futures against the position, or borrows gold from the Fed and sells it into the market. They're total position?? zero delta, but they want gold to move either way. < but I can't stop thinking about what might have happened to the Kansas City guy and - if it did happen - did it happen to others.> Their clearing houses shut them down when they run out of money.
