We (as a planet) really quickly start heading for carbon neutral,and then we start figuring out how to mitigate what's going on, one way or the other. Meaning figuring out how to sequester CO2, and/or where to move Miami, not to mention New Orleans,a bunch of Pacific Islands, not to mention getting the grid in shape to stand up to heat waves. I've probably put up lots of stuff about going carbon neutral. Fortunately, many of the methods dovetail quite nicely with those for peak oil. Unfortunately, we are the only country without a plan to address them.Which is why American cars are too dirty to sell anywhere in the world.
