His logic may be externally squirrelly but it's internally coherent. Yes, but he said it to an external audience. I'm left wondering why. Does he think the external audience will believe it and he will gain sympathy for his cause? Or is he so disdainful of his audience he doesn't care if what he says makes sense? Or is he so self-involved that he believes it himself? Or is he so stupid that he doesn't see the illogic. Or is he just answering questions with the first thing that pops into his head to get the transaction over with so he can get back to work? Or is there some code being communicated? Of course, there are no answers to that, but I'd love a chance to ask him.
