Queen Butter, We now have something in common. We both have recommended a Kirk post lately. I guess you won't like the one I rec'd. I really liked my golf analogy when applied to Brinker's bizzare rating from Hulbert. I would undoubtedly be # 1 if 1) The scorekeeper allowed me to take 1/3 the strokes off my score saying "they don't count", just as Hulbert did up to 1/3 of a portfolio when Brinker urged investors to use the money he took out of the market to buy QQQs. 2) The scorekeeper doesn't count where I hit the ball but pretends that my shot lands where the average shot lands each time, guaranteeing me "par" less 1/3 on the round. Hulbert to find a category for Brinker to lead in, not only leaves out a third of his portfolio moves but doesn't account for Brinker's individual recommendations but pretends subscribers didn't buy what he said to buy and bought something else. I would be embarassed to advertise such hubris if I were Brinker. Why in the world would anyone pay for such advice?

I am causing trouble? I was just responding to Honey's false and on-going "multiple ID" harassment. This is called a personal attack on another poster I believe, so who is it that's "keeping the topic off Brinker"? Who is making the "trouble"? If you don't want to be bothered with "trouble", give her the etiquette instruction, not me. I told her that I didn't desire or intend to get into a protracted and worthless "alias" discussion but some people can't resist getting their last "word" in, so I asked for proof or silence on the subject. Seems reasonable to me but knowing how you feel about presenting speculation as fact, maybe not to you. Then all of a sudden a handful of new names mysteriously showed up here at the same time as if they suddenly "discovered" Silicon Investor. Some were quite hostile to us both and I see at least one has been banished. Boo hoo. That isn't really a mystery is it? I heard that when 101 censored and kicked people off their Brinkerhater board, some of them went over to Yahoo UTEK board. Yahoo has recently messed their boards up so bad that no one wants to post over there. SI was mentioned as an alternative. The rest is history. I'm surprised that you are entirely unaware of that, since you posted on Yahoo UTEK quite regularly. How could it be a "mystery"? I am not unaware of the rest of your post, but I see nothing there but repetition. So the gist is this: if you (or your assistants) don't want what you call "trouble" don't be making false accusations of a personal nature, and don't be accusing people just because you don't like what they say. If you do, don't be surprised when some people call you (or your assistants) on it and respond and stand up for themselves. And Honey, I don't intend to take any of the "shots" you imply. But watch out for return volleys.
