Other points of contention:

- Maliki is apparently aligned with al Sadr who is back fighting us.

- Maliki wanted or still wants to offer amnesty for insurgents if they have only killed Coalition Forces.

- Maliki speaks the language and lives there.

- Bush is involved, but only some days, Maliki is commmitted.

What a mess.
