Cognigen Networks, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: CGNW - News), the Seattle area based Internet- enabled marketer of communications services and certificated reseller, and Anza Borrego Partners, Inc. (ABP) of San Diego today announced the formation of Cognigen Business Systems, Inc. (CBSi) for the purpose of providing broadband voice, data, video and environmental management services to the Quick Service Retail (QSR) industry. ABP has been designing and developing an integrated suite of services to support managerial communication and control for QSR franchises in a project known as Retail Technologies Co-Op (RTC).

Beyond that we foresee expansion into other QSR chains and organizations, as well as, other affiliated vertical market opportunities. Cognigen and ABP executed a formal agreement whereby each company owns 50% of CBSi with Cognigen having the option to purchase ABP's 50% share by September 7, 2006, in a stock for stock exchange. The stock has moved off it's 'throw out the stock' low of .10 per sh...this could be an interesting venture...they sure as hell have the right guy running it...and CGNW can purchase the balance of the jv by this Sept...keeping SILVA and the technology developed for the QRS stores in house for good. Fact that Subway came to him gives me confidence they will roll out all 22,000 Subway stores...and that once rolling they can cookie cutter other outlet chains.My opinion only gpg
