I believe they are moving with measure and according to their own best interests. Keep in mind that if they plan on a full rout, then time is on their side, and not the lebanese. I also think the US is monitoring with AWACS and other means the resupply routes and that soon Israel, with US assistance and intelligence will be taking out Syrian convoys and aircraft that are resupplying not only the Hezbollians, but also the insurgents that are killing US troops daily in Iraq. this is much the war on terror being fought by the US and coalitionists, as it is israel's war.
