The buildings that looked like apt. buildings were really military bases? Hezbollah doesn't have bases like a regular army, it sets up missile launches -- sometimes with and sometimes without the consent of the owners -- in or next to ordinary folks' homes. I was referring to the large blocks of apt. buildings that Israel has destroyed. In the debris were the items I cited above.....cds, toys etc. Those apts were the homes of civilians. I don't care how many Hezbollah live among them, Israel has know right to destroy their homes without provocation. Israel's behavior is that of a bully. It's a win for Hezbollah whatever happens: either Israel doesn't strike back, in which case Hezbollah just keeps firing, or Israel flattens the place, in which case Israel is accused of war crimes. Rarely does Israel show real restraint. Israel is very good at parsing its PR to make it look like they are very good invaders. But an invader is an invader. And when it comes to Lebanon they have show less restraint than in the past. The real war criminals are Hezbollah, first for purposely attacking civilian targets in Israel with their missiles, second for drawing fire on non-combatants, third for reportedly attempting to prevent Lebanese civilians from evacuating areas in which Israel drops leaflets warning of an upcoming attack. No one said that Hezbollah are saints but it takes two to tango, and the kidnapping of two soldiers does not justify in any way, shape or form the horrific destruction Israel has rained down upon Lebanon. All I can say is that Israel better be prepared to go back to Lebanon when its over and rebuild what they have destroyed.
