"I would love to hear Kofi Annan's answer to Canada's Prime Minister's question:..... What were peacekeepers doing in that outpost sitting watching a war?"

Funny Ichy, but everything I saw on CNN since it was announced yesterday was that they were UN "observers", not peace keepers. I have been travelling so have not seen anything since this morning.

My question is where would Harper expect "observers" of a war to be if not in the fray? Second question, when has it been announced that peace keepers are on the ground in Lebanon? I have heard that they are still looking for countries to volunteer forces, albeit my news is a few hours out of date.

Last question is for you....do you really expect that an international force of 4 could by any stretch be called peace keepers?

Comfort me by allowing another last question, how in the world could any responsible military have 14 close calls at a specific spot, be warned repeatedly, and then hit it spot on, without it being considered deliberate?

Kofi is right, Harper is playing politics.
