Kerry has never sold out to anyone in his life. And never will. He is an independent leader. And there isn't a special interest in the country he owes much of anything to. Just the opposite of Bush-Cheney who are squarely in the pockets of big oil and the military-industrial lobbyists. There's hardly a thing they do or say, except pandering to the religious right, which doesn't profit those big industrial special interests. Anne Richards once described it to me when I spoke to her. She said "They know how to go home with the ones that brought them to the dance". In other words, the ones who paid for their campaign get all the goodies at the expense of everyone else. Like your $3.50 gas and the Iraq quagmire? Two major by-products of Bush-Cheney corruption. Kerry would never have allowed any of that to happen.
