Sure the Clinton's drove conservatives nuts. Absolutely. There is a parallel. But there is also a difference between how far conservatives took their anger at the Clintons. I can't recall any conservative talk shows featuring skits involving the assassination of Bill Clinton (let's face it, if someone had done this, it would have made national headlines). I can't imagine conservative parents sitting down and having a crying fit with their children over the Clintons. Or any conservative figure proclaiming his/her desire to kill Bill Clinton. If you want to argue there was a Clinton Derangement Syndrome, I'll argue back that the level of derangement was very, very much lower.
