Apparently not to many people because I am already getting emails from her organization offering me free copies of her new book.

Not me...........I wouldn't pay a nickel to read that trash. She should work for the Enquirer or another tabloid. HEr writing is not factual and meant to be provocative.

Well I think the book has been out for a month and they are already giving it away for free. Then when they give away enough of them they will claim it is on the best seller list.

Thanks to you guys hyping them here I bought my first 2 fluorescent bulbs today. One was the equivalent of a 60 watt incandescent bulb but it uses only 14 watts to achieve that light output. The other was a 100 watt equivalent and it uses 23 watts of power. I didn't know they saved that much energy. On the packaging it says the 60 watter will save 36 bucks over the lifetime of the bulb and the 100 watter will save 61.

The price was also less than I expected. The bulbs were $2.99 each and I thought they were twice that price or more.

I have a few questions about them if anyone can help me. On the package it says not to use them in a receptacle which is dimmer controlled. I put the 100 watt bulb in a lamp which is a three way. That wouldn't count as a dimmer controlled would it?

The instructions also say not to use the bulbs in a fixture which is totally enclosed and recessed. I have 2 fixtures in my kitchen which I would like to switch to the energy saving bulbs but both have covers over the bulb. They aren't recessed so would that be an ok place to use the bulb?
