I accept that your boys may feel that way. I'm not sure it says much about where the country is going. I see huge differences from the way the country was when I was growing up- and polls support that there is a change. I'm sorry you don't see the change, and that your sons act that way.

Since we have a lot of gay friends, I'd punish my kids for acting that way, just as I would punish them if they called Blacks or Asians names- or hurled epithets at any other minority group.

"WRONG I have teenage boys, all their friends still call them homos and are disgusted with them. I don't see any change from 30 years ago, other then the MSM ramming their life styles down our throats"

That's so sad, longnshort.
I raised two boys who are in their early twenties now, and never heard them or any of their friends speak in derisive, insulting, or ignorant terms about their gay classmates. They each have had wonderful gay friends, welcome in our home and easily included in their activities. It just wasn't an issue.

I truly hope our experiences are more the norm than yours. If my boys or their friends ever used that kind of terminology in our home, it would have led to a pretty serious discussion.

"I have teenage boys, all their friends still call them homos and are disgusted with them."

Does that upset your boys?

FYI, kids don't become racist or homophobic by learning it from their friends....they learn it at home...!
