Well, I guess if that's your experience, I can't argue with you about that. I do believe you are wrong about the college age youth- if you meant to imply they are more conservative. Mine went to two top-tier schools, and there was a high tolerance for gays at both. Were there some who found it as scary as you seem to find it? I suppose so. I am just saying that I think a case can certainly be made for growing tolerance among the younger generations, especially once they get beyond the horrible transition age of middle school, where "normal" assumes very narrow, explicit, and arbitrarily defined parameters. Our best and brightest are frequently misfits in those years.
