Well, my view is that if we allow things to devolve into bombing and destruction in Lebanon, Syria, or Iran, not only will this be an unnecessary and wrong-headed approach hurting many innocent people, but many of these people are going to end up being your neighbours if they cannot live in their own countries in peace. Do you want that? Sounds like you don't.

Why always the carrot for Israel and the stick for the others? Israel has no incentive to be moderate because whatever it does is condoned by the US, who protect them against censure. Meanwhile, radicals in Iran get elected and gain support because of the hyprocrisy of the favourism of the US and their constant threats to Iran. Help the moderates in all the countries, don't try to destroy some of the countries in the false impression that this will cause anything other than chaos and extremism.
