<<NOT TRUE, Dija...When Brinker's Marketimer Model Portfolios are ranked by Hulbert (with a QQQQ-mulligan), the best ranking he gets is THIRD PLACE.
.
Even the phony "HYPOTHETICAL PORFOLIO" that Hulbert set up in FEBRUARY wasn't based on Brinker's actual portfolios. And it was for only FIVE YEARS!
The 4th paragraph on page 3 of July Marketimer is full of lies and here's the biggest whopper:
"The TOP-RATED Marketimer stock market timing model........" Marketimer CURRENTLY is ranked number one for long-term stock market timing by the two major rating services, Hulbert Financial Digest and........"

(Emphasis mine)>>

--Honey, you keep posting all these words, but without even the tiniest amount of evidence.

I have asked you questions about this subject, and I have posted facts that you have ignored. You have answered ZERO of my questions, and have not responded to the facts I have posted.

If you ever decide to answer any of my questions, let me know, and we can discuss this further. Until then, I will continue to believe brinker was telling the complete and total truth in the July Marketimer, and that you have no real interest in actually DISCUSSING the matter in an intelligent way.

As to the idea that Hulbert should have "held brinker's feet to the fire," that is a ridiculous and unfounded belief, and can only come from the mind of a basher.

Any halfway objective person would understand that Hulbert's hands were tied. He rates ALL newsletter writers on their PORTOLIOS.

Right or wrong, Brinker NEVER AT ANY TIME PUT THE QQQ CALL INTO HIS PORTFOLIOS!

Therefore, Hulbert could not count them, anymore than he could count Microsoft, or Vodafone, or TEFQX.

He did the next-best thing, putting a footnote into his newsletter to tell one and all that brinker made the bad QQQ call.

There is no footnote about Microsoft. But there IS a footnote about the QQQ call.

How can anyone who isn't blinded by hate possibly believe that is unfair?

I disagree with your implication that the use of the word "currently" makes that statement a "whopper," given that the February table of timing-only rankings that showed Brinker as number one has not been superceded by a later one. It may not meet your standards for accuracy, but "whopper" is quite an exaggeration on your part.

What would qualify as a whopper, in my opinion, is quoting that ranking while leaving out a major failed call.
