>>>Israel is responding to a threat of total obliteration

Pleeease... there was no threat of total obliteration... all Hezbollah did was take two Israeli soldiers prisoners in order to get a prisoner swap. Sounds logical to me. After all Israel has been abducting Hamas and Hezbollah people for years. Their jails are full of them. So don't blame Hezbollah for the Israeli criminal insanity that followed for something that could have easily be completed with a prisoner swap and not a single civilian dead. Sheesh...

"Israel is responding to a threat of total obliteration."

Are you actually serious? Hezbollah has fired 1100 dumb rockets and killed 35 Israelis! Meanwhile, Israel has rubbleized Lebanon and killed 400 Lebanese civilians.

So, who's facing total obliteration? Get real, for God's sake. Israel has NUKES and IRBMs. So, who is REALLY going to try to obliterate Israel? This is complete, ridiculous hyperbole. NO ONE is buying the "Israel as poor victim" line anymore.
