gvatty, Otellini 90 day deadline is up. If AMD and Hector missed their self-imposed deadline for cutting costs they would be downgraded immediately. Speaking of deadlines, AMD said at beginning of the year that a quad core chip would be demonstrated by mid year. Now, the "target" for such demonstration has been postponed by 6 months. This is of course not the only reasons, but one of the reasons we are at $18 rather than $36. Joe PS: This poll of mid year demo of QC chips is now closed and canceled without a winner.
