They attacked Israel in order to have a couple of prisoners to swap for some of the 9000 in Israeli jails. That's what they say and it looks like it might happen but not before the country is reduced to rubble and a new generation of angry youngsters are created.

Apparently their families feel that this is the only way they're ever going to get them back. Ask them.
