Cliff has a big bias against the oil industry. He wants cheap gas and energy independence but is opposed to drilling almost anywhere in the US. I challenged him once to name anywhere in the US he approved of drilling and he passed on it. His understanding of economic questions is primitive - hard to believe he's a college grad. Wait, why am I assuming he is? He thinks the big oil companies make about $1.75 a gallon or more in profit. A glance at an annual report would show otherwise. He doesn't know the major oil companies buy a majority of the oil they refine and market on the world market. siliconinvestor.com
