VoOP on VoIP is wrong.

It doesn't seem to deal with what SONS does.

Cooters, like The Shadow and the market, knows. We're not getting hammered.

Voop,

LU and NT are in the same position now as they were under a standard IMS, the incumbent RAN vendor. No more, no less. The nimbleness of Sonus and the software focus should play well into non-standard IMS deployments, in that respect this is positive. The sincerity of VZW also plays to SONS strengths. The slight negative is they will not be doing a panic core upgrade, which would almost certainly have been Sonus.

On net positive.

Bigger picture, since I would expect the 3GPP crowd to remain on standard IMS path, one by one they should follow Cingular upgrading their core networks. Beaucoup business coming.
