Dubyette is not the leader of the free world, he's the President of the US of A for another couple of years. He doesn't lead the French, the Russians, the Japanese, the Venezuelans...there are many people who ignore him.

Apparently you do not believe in the US Constitution, separation of powers or the rule of law. Spying without warrants is against the law and against the separation of powers laid out in the US Constitution.

So you are willing to give up civil liberties, willing to accept dictatorship, willing to destroy the country in order to save it from nuclear war? What are you saving? A dictatorship that preemptively struck another country without regards to any other opinion and for personal profit is much more likely to use nuclear weapons than a government which is limited by law and by the people.

The NYTimes, the WSJ and the LATimes all printed the same story. Dubyette and crew only went after the NYTimes. Why is that?
