You are pushing the Dan Rather line - oh, the documents were faked but the story they told was true anyway. I recall reading a newspaper interview in the Houston Chronicle with Killian's secretary. She said the young Bush was very polite and well-mannered in his dealings with her. She said she thought many of the pilots in the TANG got their positions by special treatment mentioning sons of prominent families the the Benson's. She said nothing directly derogatory about Bush specifically.
