How about colorful language to describe pols, such as pink tutu Dems or borrow-and-spend GOPers?

My dog came back from the vet yesterday without testicles.

Should he be allowed to marry?

I notice you've left the Free America thread, it looks like for good.

Anyway, I just found out the only gay man in the country who wants to be a scout leader (James Dale) has no children, came out when he was a sophomore in college, and simply had wanted to be a scout leader after college as he'd liked being a scout as a kid.

I'm wondering in light of your previously posted opinion that I don't think ANYONE should be a leader in the girlscouts or boyscouts if they don't have a child in the troop if this changes your opinion on the Boy Scouts?

It all seems pretty silly to me to treat the boy scouts like they were the KKK or Nazi party. And it worries me that churches and religious charities could be treated the same way.

Specific topic threads that aren't political in nature have a reasonable chance of cordial interaction. However, political threads based on having an active bipartisan community with a minimal number of bans will always be subject to problems that are inevitable. You know I've tried and I think with a modest amount of success, but there will always be mavericks.

Good Luck,
Josh
