Yes, Big Oil interests CONSPIRED to and ACTUALLY DID raise prices dramatically when they realized they could get two of their own cronies into the White House along with more cronies in congress giving them carte blanche to steal as much as possible. Today's oil industry is a de facto monopoly with no oversight extremely guilty of manipulating prtices upward. The only time they have brought them down was when the heat was on in congress and the senate. Two times. To deny any of the above is to be exposed as a total liar and cover-up artist for the big oil crooks.
