The average move in the price for those beating and those missing estimates are fairly low absolute numbers. I don't know that I would read as much weight into the conclusion as the author of the article. On the other hand, this charts shows that the long term interest rates are still in a very strong long term down trend. It may indicate a mini recession is coming as I see that as the only reason for rates to move back down from these levels. chartoftheday.com
