The Gulf War, or first Bush war to be more accurate, did not help any muslims except the Sheiks of Kuwait. Bush Sr. was maneuvered into that one so that the neocons could obtain bases in the Middle East. Addmittedly, it was not so obvious as the second Bush war, but that is because the neocon end game was not made public at the time.

To an extent perhaps, but that's far from sure. Al Qaeda tried to play a big role in the region but it never was a large factor.


You ignore cause and effect in some cases but just make stuff up in other cases. It's all partisan, isn't it?
