Even if Bush was owned an operated by the Saudis (a ridiculous assertion but for the sake of argument lets say its so), its irrelevant. The Saudis want oil prices to be as high as they think can be sustained over the long term. They have long been part of a cartel (OPEC) which exists to try to increase prices. They don't need Bush and he can't do much for them. The only significant difference between now and a few years ago is that demand is higher. Bush doesn't control the demand and hasn't even made any serious effort to increase it.
