SP If Lebanon mobilizes its army to the south, they will get shredded by the Israeli infantry and air support. They know this - an effective counter punch will have to be with some helps from their "friends". All sides are looking at a problem accurately - tragically, it's not the same problem - very little room for compromise. I do think that a cease fire will be brokered somehow - however the US has zero cache in the region - it'll have to come from the EU plus some Arab nations. A19
