If docs cheat even in strictly controlled studies, one can imagine what happens when there is so much slack. The cheating can even be involuntary. Some guys want to prove something so bad that ,unknowingly to them, they "cheat". As for family/environs, I agree with you. I meant the familial environment is stronger than the outside one...usually.
