The supposed "UN corruption" was very minor league in comparison to what's going on now. At last report, the Iraqi oil ministry was controlled by convicted swindler Cheney crony Chalabi and Halliburton. As much as 30% of the Iraqi oil is being STOLEN before it ever hits the market, and Halliburton was caught gouging the US military by overcharging for gasoline, doubling the price of it. Plus about 10 billion is just missing in Iraq. Our money. Missing.

There was also a report of a US military plane loaded with 1 billion in cash which landed in Kurdistan. No one has explained who that money was for.

Iraq is not only a military and humanitarian disaster, it's also a corruption disaster. It's 100 times worse than any of the crooked middlemen during the Oil For Food program. And as for the French and Germans making billions, the US was still Saddam's biggest customer for oil, even then. But Bushies definitely wanted to kill Saddam's oil deal with ELF Acquitaine. Bush-Cheney care more about the oil business than they care about us. That's for sure. They may have started the entire war just for oil contracts.

You wanted a coalition as in Desert Storm and I point out the French and Germans are making billions off of the status quo,....

The situation regarding Iraq was not that compelling as it was during Desert Storm. Now it was more of a quarrel between the US and Europeans on who should benefit from the Iraq oil. Simple.

Arabs are butchering Arabs at the direction of the Iranian mullahs.

And are you saying that the US is trying to save their lives with their presence or is their presence adding to the violence?
