Jonah does not have a history of lying or misleading in his reporting.

Do you have any evidence of him telling the truth? I haven't seen it.

As an experiment, I googled his name and selected the first hit:

"Hezbollah instigated this round of fighting when it infiltrated the (U.N.-recognized) Israeli border and kidnapped two Israeli soldiers while killing others."

This is a lie. This round of fighting began on May 26 when Israel infiltrated the (U.N.-recognized) Lebanese border and planted a car bomb (in Sidon). Certainly, Hezbollah did not indicate that they wanted to fight a war. They made that clear with their actions immediately following the capture of Israeli soldiers. Instead of firing rockets at Israel, they held a press conference and stating that they wanted to exchange the soldiers for Lebanese hostages held in Israeli prisons.
