I think a lot of the wingnuts on these threads NEVER travel abroad. Just 22% of Americans even own a passport.

That has not been my experience in Thailand, England, Turkey, Germany, Italy and the Carribbean.

People like Americans.....except in areas where there is substantial ignorance and illiteracy.....

You're right. A friend just got back from Holland. Everywhere she went they told her they thought Americans were stupid and uninformed. Things have slipped badly in ten years.
