"Hezbollah leader said to be hiding in Iranian Embassy"

" If confirmed, the reports could lead to an Israeli air strike on the embassy, possibly leading to a widening of the conflict, said officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity. Foreign embassies are sovereign territory and an attack on an embassy could be considered an act of war. "

But, he could also be in Damascus, according to "sources".

" But other reports from the region indicate Sheik Nasrallah may be in Damascus. A Kuwaiti newspaper, Al-Seyassah, reported from the Syrian capital yesterday that Sheik Nasrallah was seen moving through the city with Syrian guards in an intelligence agency car, Associated Press reported. He was dressed in civilian clothes, not his normal clerical robe.
The newspaper quoted Syrian government sources as saying Iranian national security council official Ali Larijani was in Damascus and was to meet with Syrian President Bashar Assad and Sheik Nasrallah. "

Phil > a poll in Israel gave the war effort a 95% approval rating

A poll is a poll is a poll.

> all the blame is stacked on the Hezbollah/Hamas side

Has to be -- they are evil terrorists.

> And in regards to the UN observers killings, many believe that simply these things happen, are inevitable in war, and besides, it was their own fault for being in a war zone

I believe they were supposed to be peace keepers, whatever that means, but more likely they were just plain observers. Here's the map of all the UN positions in S. Lebanon (for downloading). The place where the incident occurred is Khiam.

> In addition, why did those observers not stop Hezbollah in the first place? And secondly, the UN is useless, and ought to be dismantled and kicked out of New York. Its all their fault!

Absolutely. The UN should be tried for war crimes.

> George Bush's popularity due to Condo's diplomacy efforts are probably soaring.

Ya gotta believe it.
