interesting , world will not stop nukes with a mad man in iran because they hate Bush?

i find that quite a reach. World fears no threat from iran having nukes or giving them to terrorists down the road. Or they do but since they hate Bush so much they will let Iran have nukes vs protect their countries against nuke attack.

I must have read this wrong.

The world hates George Bush more than any U.S. president in my lifetime. He is radioactive — and so caught up in his own ideological bubble that he is incapable of imagining or forging alternative strategies.

The strange thing about Friedman is that as I recall he supported the invasion of Iraq, now presumably due to the fallout from that decision he says that Bush is "in his own ideological bubble".

By the way, if you get a chance to hear the Bush and Blair responses to David Gregory's question about how the middle east is going up in flames and isn't this an indicator of flawed policies there, they really came back blazing.
