I think the bloggers are helping to dismantle the megaphone- as long as they don't get co-opted. The problem, as I see it, with the blogosphere is that there is so much nonsense in it, which people believe as if it were fact. Too, as the article pointed out, the 15% of the population that is informed will have an uphill battle convincing the 85% who continue to be bamboozled. (I believe that most of the 60% +/- of folks who disapprove of GWB, do so out of a vague sense of unease, rather than from an informed viewpoint.) Although I do think it remarkable that GWB's approval ratings are in the tank even with the Mighty Wurlizer in full throat on his behalf. We The People have obviously figured that one out on our own, in spite of the efforts of New Pravda.
