I don't follow ESLR and don't own it, but would like to comment on the effecency thing. SunPower has announced "up to 17.7%" figures. Are they real?

While a 1% increase seems pretty nominal, it would help them, IMHO. The holy grail for solar is getting more energy out of the panels - ideally, at less manufactureing cost. Perhaps the 1% gain is also produced with lower cost production and thus is important to something called profits?

ESLR is off by 1/3 in the last 5-6 weeks. At this rate it'll hit zero in about 10 weeks...

What have investors reacted to? Losing money is not good, but ESLR was losing money even as it ran up to twice the current price. Is there some problem with the ribbon technology? Do they lack adequate silicon supply? Is this why MA plant is offline? Are investors afraid of new entrants? What is the deal?
