There is no "the American point of view". Different Americans had and have different points of view.

I followed your links to ussliberty.org

And it provides no serious evidence for me to change my view.

Its not surprising that someone who was attacked thought it was deliberate, but that feeling is not evidence. Serious charges like this require serious evidence.

And its quite definite that it wasn't part of a pattern or campaign of attacks.
