Yes, 9/11 made us realize how inept and how corrupt our government actually is. 9/11 was either the result of utter ineptitude that should have resulted in investigation and punishment or utter corruption that allowed 9/11 to happen to bolster the military industrial and oil industries. Even if 9/11 was simply ineptitude, why hasn't there been a Congressional investigation regarding how a plane took off from Washington, DC fly to Ohio turned around and over an hour after the WTC North Tower was hit, this plane struck our premier military installation The Pentagon?!? How is that possible?!? Does that mean that in 1985, during the Cold War, the Soviets could have just launched a plane from an aircraft carrier and hit the Pentagon at will with over an hours notice? I think not, but how did it happen on 9/11/01 and why hasn't there even been an investigation to determine why and how it happened and to ensure it can not happen again. That is how properly functiong organizations correct deficiencies and our government has no interest in doing so.
