"(I think that is it) and they cannot use those funds on an OTC stock. So the listing will help."

11. What is the foreign content limit for RRSPs?

You can have up to 25% of your RRSP's book value in foreign content (30% effective January 1, 2001). The book value of your plan is the actual cost of the holdings in your RRSP, not the RRSP's worth. If you currently hold more than one RRSP, the limit applies to each plan individually. If you hold exactly 25% foreign content in your RRSP you will be penalized if you sell a non-foreign content holding, or if one of your foreign mutual funds pays and reinvests a distribution, as this will cause you to exceed the foreign content limit.
