I don't believe that a UN, NATO, EU, or international peace keeping force can do very much to help solve the ME problems that Israel, Palestine, and Hizbullah are a part of. What is needed is an open effort on the part of Israel, Palestine, Hamas, and Hizbullah to solve the outstanding problems. As long as any of the parties insist that one of the others has to cease to exist no solution can be achieved. That's obvious and no international peace keeping force will change that. Hizbullah and Israeli rhetoric needs to be toned down for a start.
