Big Box we don't want.

I don't know your geography, but why have it built just outside your township limits and let someone else get the sale and property taxes? That may not fit your situation, but that is what happens when people oppose them.

The unspoken word in this case was that WMT did not contribute enough dinero to local council members. It wasn't a big box issue. This town is in L.A. County. Traffic congestion is a part of the landscape with or without big box.
