If one only new and bought as much as you could afford and just let the stock sit and grow.

I remember seeing a tech TV show (early 1990's), they were talking about OS2 and MS and other products. One guy believed MS would fade out and no longer be a dominate player, very negative about MS (something to that effect, how wrong he was).
