The average Arab sees the wanton destruction of Lebanon. Israel has hit everything - every road, every bridge. Hundreds of civilians are killed and hundreds of thousands of civilians are displaced. Maybe Israel is justified in their actions but a child can understand where the sympathies of the average Arab/Iraqi lie. Bush fails in Iraq if he doesn't win over the populace but how can he do that and support Israel's destruction at the same time? Bush is totally contradicted and just pissing in the wind in Iraq if he thinks he’s got an ally there. He has a puppet ally as long as the troops and money flows but he hasn’t the hearts and minds.
