While it has always been front and center, I have never felt that McCain has exploited his military service. The same could be said for George H. Bush and Bob Dole. It is unfortunate that the accomplishments of McCain's father and grandfather have not gotten more attention. About a year and a half ago, Mayor Daley's son, Patrick, enlisted in the Army at the age of 29. He had recently gotten an MBA from the University of Chicago. Daley has been a consistent supporter of the war and is on good terms with GWB. Message 20812000
