Heh. I used to watch Swaggart sometimes on TV, years ago. There was something engaging about his brand of hucksterism. More than you could say for that slimy Falwell, or nutcase Robertson. Another one with genuine entertainment value was Dr. Gene Scott. In his later period he more or less gave up talking about the Bible, and instead devoted shows to footage of his Swedish girlfriend and his show horses (not necessarily together!)
